Milling Barn Wedding Photographer
They are gorgeous! And we loved LOVED having you!!! You are just fantastic xxx
Milling Barn is romantic and rustic all at the same time…
The first time I met Laura and Chris was on their wedding day! The photographer they had originally booked was heavily pregnant and unwell and with less than a week to go until their she asked me to step in and take over.
I was actually supposed to be the second photographer for Laura and Chris’s wedding at Milling Barn anyway.I had spoken with Laura a couple of days prior to the wedding and understandably she was upset that she couldn’t have the photographer she had originally booked. “I really the like the sunset pictures in the fields” she said to me.
Milling Barn is unlike any other barn I had photographed in before. Located in near the rural village of Throcking, the barn is decorated in neutral colours and soft lighting, but still retains some of the features from the 17th Century oak barn, making it romantic and rustic all at the same time.
It was all so beautifully and elegantly co-ordinated
2018 was the year we had the freak summer that just went on for months and I am so glad it did. I couldn’t have asked for more from a very last minute booking!
The whole day from start to finish was filled with glorious sunshine.
Laura opted for a Morilee wedding dress. She kept her hair and jewellery simple and matching with the bridesmaids lovely dusky pink dresses. Everything from the dresses, to the cake, to the flowers, to the grooms and groomsmen’s suits were so beautifully and elegantly coordinated.
After the wedding breakfast, Laura, Chris and I nipped off down to the fields to capture those sunset photos that Laura wanted.Laura got sunset photos….
